The Afterschool "HUB" will be run by NL Recreation @ the Community Center.
Where education meets excitement! Our carefully crafted program is designed to inspire, engage, and empower your child beyond the classroom. Care will be provided from after school until 5:15 PM.
- Children will be bussed from Nathan Hale, Winthrop and Jennings to the New London Recreation Community Center after school.
- This 2025-2026 school year program will run from the first day of school until the last day of the school year Monday-Friday; excluding Holidays and vacations, following the New London traditional school calendar. Early release Wednesdays are covered and included in the regular paid days, however half days (parent teacher conferences) or teacher professional days are not included.
- Swim lessons will be offered 1 on Wednesdays, optional, for an additional charge.
- Payment plans are available- secure your spot! 1 registration for the whole year- where your credit card will be billed monthly. Please make sure you select each month.
- Open gym activities, games, pool time, homework space, NESS mobile classroom visits, and much more!
- Limited to the first 120 children!
- $35 per week aftercare without Swim Lessons, OR $7 per day (no charge for days there is no program). An additional $10 per for each Wednesday of the month for Swim Lessons
- Cost FAQ-payments per month but payment plan is deducted weekly- due at minimum 1 week prior to the start of the 1st day. Cost monthly determined by: $7 per day times the number of days in the month. Optional swim: $10 times the number of Wednesdays in the month. If you select pay in full or payment plan, your spot will be held for the school year. If you select to pay on your own, your place will not be held until payment is received. We expect this program to fill.
