This adult ballet class focuses on building a strong technical foundation while cultivating grace, balance, and body awareness. Each class begins with structured barre work to develop proper alignment, posture, strength, and understanding of classical ballet terminology. Dancers will then move into center floor exercises that emphasize balance, coordination, fluidity, and controlled movement. The class encourages a calm and mindful approach to movement, creating space for dancers to reconnect with their bodies in a supportive environment.
Prerequisite:
Previous dance experience helpful, but not required - everyone welcome. Ballet can be tailored to many levels.
Dress:
Comfortable movement clothing or ballet attire, ballet slippers recommended or socks.
